Storytelling That Connects with Audiences
Creating an Immersive Spatial Experience
The theme of this exhibition was “Transforming the Future,” and it was held at EcoARK. We utilized the venue’s natural lighting that permeated the translucent exterior walls made of plastic bottles and combined it with artificial lighting, bamboo structures, and the waterway within the building to create a futuristic space intertwined with the real and virtual world. Technologies developed by 16 R&D institutes of the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) were also used in conjunction with a large number of unique materials and LED screens displaying striking designs of particles and beams of light. These multi-layered elements integrated together gave the impression of science fiction brought to life.

When selecting locations and designing scenes, extensive thematic and curatorial planning went into creating a series of immersive storytelling experiences. The exhibition featured real-time interaction with a LINE chatbot that tracked the journey of visitors and enriched the overall viewing experience.

For the fifth straight year since 2014, KY-POST Design had been commissioned to design Discovering Technology Treasures, ITRI’s large-scale interactive tech experience exhibition. We possess a high level of familiarity and expertise when it comes to venue designing and planning in the cities of Taipei and Taichung, which we utilized to create a one-of-a-kind event. Excellent communication and cooperation with our network of partners further aided the planning and execution of promotional activities both online and offline to deliver the best marketing results.
