Creating the Highest E-sports Experience Palace and Immersive Gaming World for Players
Blizzard Entertainment, as the industry's leading game developer, established the world's first official e-sports arena in Taipei. The KY-POST Design team created a brand-new e-sports experience space, covering an area of 500 square meters and accommodating up to 250 people, including trial play Area, peripheral merchandise sales area, live broadcast room, bilingual anchor station, analysis station, interview area, and VIP viewing room, etc. The overall space plan was combined with Blizzard Entertainment’s classic game styles. The layout design was started from the entrance, and the lighting rendering was used to guide the tour line. It emphasized the rising power of the e-sports generation that cannot be underestimated, and to create a game world built by Blizzard Entertainment as soon as the players stepped into this hall.
The highlight of this case was the stage design, which transformed the limitations of the existing space on-site into design features, extended the smooth color beams, opened up the overall perspective, broke the original space limitations, and was designed with a combination of curtains and radiant halo. As the theme of the game activity changed at any time, a high-rise visual effect was formed, and to create an e-sports experience with excellent sound and light for professional e-sports players and game viewers, and thoroughly they felt the immersive atmosphere brought by the brand.
